AGW Conference

Invitation

Australian Gastroenterology Week 2007 will be held in Adelaide over 11 - 14th October. The meeting is the major educational and collegiate event for all who are involved in the broad area of digestive diseases.

The program is already in an advanced stage of planning and is being designed to cater for clinicians, basic and applied researchers, academics and advanced trainees with as much integration between disciplines as possible. We are pleased to welcome members of the CSIRO and GENCA to the meeting.

The meeting will commence with an endoscopy workshop, where the latest innovation and technological advances will be showcased. The core meeting will include many state of the art lectures and symposia featuring prominent international and local experts.

As colorectal cancer screening is such an important and topical subject at present, this issue will be one major theme of the meeting. As usual, the meeting will be a prestigious forum for the presentation of original research from Australia and abroad.

The final day of the meeting will include a postgraduate course which will provide focussed clinical updates designed for active clinicians and trainees.

Adelaide is a great venue for this meeting, for socialising with colleagues and for the many pleasant distractions within a short distance of city.

It is a pleasure to invite you to attend.
